Here is important technology instructions in the event of staff shortages or other issues regarding COVID-19. We appreciate everyone’s patience and efforts to ensure that MWHS is prepared to continue services in the event of staff shortages or other issues related to COVID-19. 
 
EMAIL: From any PC or mobile device you should be able to access Microsoft 365 (email) via the website https://www.office.com/  - using the username and password that you normally use to sign-in from your work computer. If for any reason you will not be checking email regularly please make sure to change your “Out of Office” message to indicate so. You can set this up from your work computer or the online Microsoft 365.
 
From your office computer, change your “Out of Office” message on Outlook by:
1.         Click on File tab in the top left and find Automatic Replies (Out of Office).
2.         Click on Automatic Replies (Out of Office) and this will give you the option to update your “Out of Office” message for email.  You will complete two messages; one for inside of my organization and one for outside of my organization. 
From the online 365:
1.         Go to Microsoft 365 https://www.office.com/ and access our Outlook email. 
2.         Click on the settings wheel on the top right hand side of the screen.
3.         Click on the “View all Outlook Settings”
4.         Select “Automatic replies” and then you will need to turn the automatic replies on.  Set a time period for your email to send your “Out of Office” message when you receive a new email.  You will complete two messages; one for inside of my organization and one for outside of my organization.  These messages are easy to change if it needs to be adjusted if needed.

Phone User Features 
Phone Set-Up
There are instructions for features from the phone directly or from the Comcast Portal which is online based. If you will not be answering your office phone please change your message to notify callers. There are three ways to access your voicemail.
 
From your office:
  1. Press the “Messages” button on your phone or dial your 3-4 digit extension or 10-digit telephone number.
From a computer, online:
2. Visit business.comcast.com/bveportal to access voicemail online.
From another phone:
1. Dial your office telephone number.
2. When your personal greeting starts, press*.
3. Enter your password when prompted.
Voicemail Main Menu
When you access voicemail by phone, you will be in the Main Menu. This menu will prompt you with a set of options to use in managing your messages. Once you’ve made a selection from the Main Menu, you will hear prompts to guide you through further options. The following is a list of options available to you from the Main Menu.
Main Menu options:
Press 1 to access voice mailbox.
Press 3 to go to the Greetings menu.
Press 4 to change call forwarding options. This is a feature you can use to forward your office phone to your cell phone.
Press 5 to record a new announcement.
Press 8 to change passcode.
Press 9 to exit voice portal.
Press # to repeat the Main Menu.
Once you’ve made a selection from the Main Menu, you will hear prompts to guide you through further options.
 
To active call forwarding from the online portal, go to business.comcast.com/bveportal and then from the Main Navigation Page, select “Feature Settings”, then Select “Call Forwarding” from the drop down menu. Once you are there scroll down to Call Forwarding Busy, enter the number to which incoming calls should go, click “On” to activate or “Off” to deactivate, then click “Save”.
